Cross section of social Media users from Kogi State have described Doctor Usman Ogbo’s Mobilisation road show in the ancient town of Ankpa, Kogi East for Ahmed Usman Ododo as gathering of “hamlet meeting”.
To one Innocent U, he writes on his Facebook wall, “this Ogbo ‘s road show at Ankpa for Ahmed Usman Ododo for Kogi Governor looks like hamlet meeting where you have less than a hundred attendees”.
To another Facebook user, ‘ Idajili O, he writes, “I’m in Ankpa currently and Students of PAUU plus that of C.E.O Ankpa were paid N10,000 each to come and attend the road show.
” The funniest thing is that, most of the students who accepted the offer to come out are mostly Ebiras from: Okene, Okehi, Adavi and Ihima.😄😄
” My question is, will these students come Okene or all those places mentioned in Ebira’s lands to vote at Ankpa on election day?”
” Ahmed Usman Ododo is unpopular candidate and he looks defeated even before Kogi November 11th Governorship election “.
To One Abdulaziz, a Facebook user from Okene, he writes, ” Lol, Governor Yahaya Bello and his team are too desperate for this election as I can see some of my tribal guys from Okene, Ogaminana, and Ihima participating at Ankpa road show for Ododo.
” This is completely a total deception to mislead the public that Ododo is on ground for this race whereas in reality, he is not”.
“What a desperate and shameless people they have become?”
To one Obaje A, he writes, ” I learnt Governor Yahaya Bello is plotting with INEC to rig the election as he did in 2019 but it will shock him this time around “.
Recall that one Usman Ogbo, Governor Yahaya Bello’s appointee working as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, has reportedly organised a road show for Ahmed Usman Ododo ‘s – governorship support but unfortunately for him, the said road show staged on 30th July 2023 didn’t only suffer a setback of low turnout of people but the rented crowd in the ancient town of Ankpa were also boed to sorry state.
