Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, of Solemn Faith International Church, Port-harcourt has said Thanksgiving serves as a gateway for Christians to enjoy God’s increase.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, made the revelation during the church service held on Sunday being 30th July 2023 while preaching on the topic: “Engaging the power of Thanksgiving for the release of greater increase”
Speaking at the Church Thanksgiving for the month of July, 2023, Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, said those Christians who engage in Thanksgiving do not only enjoy spiritual multiplication in their businesses but also enjoy divine remembrance, divine visitation, access to glory and honour, as well as good health and vitality from God.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, who took his readings from: Jeremiah 30:19, Psalms 115: 14, Mathew 14:17, Luke 17: 13 – 19 among others said, ” Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude, and also a public celebration in acknowledgement of divine favour of the mighty act of God”.
He enjoined the congregation to imbibe the act of Thanksgiving if they must provoke God to bless them beyond measure adding that those who engage the act of Thanksgiving always attract more blessings and rewards.
He stressed that though, Thanksgiving attracts God’s blessings but reminded the congregation that, first step to take to enjoy the blessings that accompany Thanksgiving is to be born again and accept that Jesus is the son of God who died for the salvation of mankind.
Earlier, there was a special redention by Solemn Glorious voice Choir to the admiration of the congregation.
