The general overseer of Solemn Faith International Church Port-harcourt, Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, has said human hard earn Effort to gain increase is infiniticimal compared to God’s ordained increase.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, gave the admonition during the Church service on Sunday being 23rd July 2023 while preaching on the topic: “Understanding the power of Increase “.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo Said, to gain increase in all spheres of life, one needs God’s favour.
He said hard work without God ‘s favour doesn’t lead to automatic increase adding that it is the favour of the Lord that transforms hard work to increase.
Pastor Mathew who read extensively from the books of Luke 2: 52, 1 Samuel 2: 26, Psalms 115:4 Genesis 26: 1-22, 2 Chronicles 13: 5 among other Bible references gave examples of men and women to include: Isaac / Abimelech, Esau and Laban, David / Saul , Esther, Mordecai/ Harman, as well as the woman with the issue of blood whom God favoured and delivered them from their captivities.
He explained, God who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow is still available to give out his favour to those who genuinely believe in him.
He added that, to attract God’s favour, one needs to make sacrifice for God, being born again, obey his commandments and serve him faithfully and deligently.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, in a concluding remarks, prayed for members to enjoy God ‘s favour this week and beyond.
