Students of Federal University Lokoja ) FUL in Kogi State are now living in fear as Armed Robbers are robbing students on daily basis.
According to one of the students identified as Joe, ” Armed Robbers are now robbing us on daily basis unhindered without security resistant”
” We have protested to Government house Lokoja but the Governor, Ododo Usman continues to pay deaf ears”.
Similarly, Bandits are also demanding ransom openly in Lokoja without any security resistant.
Information gathered revealed that one Ibo man selling building materials opposite Radio Kogi Lokoja was held captive on Sunday night and the sum of N13m was demanded as ransom.
We therefore use this medium to call on the relevant authority to wade into the situation immediately.
