Mandala Market, which takes place every Thursday, has been moved to Anagada under the Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

According to Bashiru Guma, a resident of Mandala who spoke with OurWorldGist, the relocation became necessary due to ongoing road construction in Mandala.

Guma added that the market, which was a significant source of revenue for the Niger State government, will be dearly missed.

Meanwhile, the market has already commenced operations at Anagada, located between Sabo Anagada and the main town of Anagada.

The market, which features a variety of food items, also offers new and second-hand clothes, livestock, and farm implements.

Some residents of Anagada who spoke with OurWorldGist  expressed their happiness about the market’s arrival, noting that it has reduced the cost of transport for obtaining food and other items.

With this development, residents of Abuja and its environs who patronise the market are to take note of this relocation and act accordingly.
