One of the most celebrated social media icon in Nigeria who is also an advocate of good governance,Usman Austin Okai,was on Thursday 28th April cleared to contest for Dekina / Bassa House of Representative come 2023 general elections.
The event which was performed by Peoples’ Democratic Party ( PDP ) screening committee took place at the party Secretariat, Wadata House, Abuja.
Addressing journalists shortly after the event, Usman Austin Okai, said, ” I am delighted that this day has come to a reality”.
” I, and my teaming supporters with God on our side are confident that victory is certain but be that as it may, we will not take our opponents for granted as we shall work indefatigably to ensure that nothing but victory at the end”.
Okai added, “My desire to contest is absolutely an obedient to my peoples’ call and I will not disappoint them if elected”.
