A Public Affairs Analyst, a trained Administrator, a Technocrat per excellent who is also a Pastor, Mister Ben Adejoh, has commended Governor Yahaya Bello’s stance to recover Kogi’s stolen wealth from the hands of the Capitalist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote
Mr Ben Adejoh, gave the commendation while reacting to the move by Kogi State Government to claim the ownership of Obajana Cement Company from the hands of the African Richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
In what Mr Ben Adejoh, titles as ” Ownership Structure Of Dangote Cement, Obajana, ” Our Governor must be commended for the courage to challenge the status quo and demand tough answers from the process that threw up this Capitalist in our faces”.
His full statement reads: “The media is currently awash with a rift between kogi state Government and Aliko Dangote over the status and ownership structure of the sprawling cement company at obajana.
The report of the Technical committee empanelled by HE Yahaya Bello, executive Governor.
Of the state is also in public domain after the recalcitrant nature of the company to attend to a routine invitation by the state Assembly to a normal parliamentary inquiry.
NNPC,LTD asked for 25percent shares in the soon to be completed mega refinery at Lekki Lagos.
This attempt to partake in the ownership of this Humongous company is to pave way for them to be on the Board and make the needed input.
It’s pure travesty to hand 100 percent shareholding to Dangote industries by former political leaders of Kogi state.
Our Governor must be commended for the courage to challenge the status quo and demand tough answers from the process that threw up this capitalist in our faces.
Dangote Industries must forfeit 25 Percent shares to our state to enable us participate in the Governance structure of the company, demand appropriate CSR and receive the much needed dividends.
Our Government must Approach the proper court of competent jurisdiction to challenge this travesty.
Our Governor needs our support in this regards”.
Recall that there is faceoff between Kogi State Government and Dangote Group of company over the ownership of “Obajana Cement company” and non remittance of tax to the government of Kogi.
