Chief Immam Of Agada Ogbabede, Mallam Momoh Ojoh Passes On

The Chief Immam of Agada Ogbabede, Mallam Momoh Ojoh has passed on at the age of 99

According to the family statement jointly relesased by Mrs Mary Dele Yusuf ( First daughter ) and Mr Francis Ojoh ( first Son ), Mallam Momoh Ojoh died on 9th June 2020 at Celina Hospital Anyigba after a brief illness.

Until his death, Late Mallam Momoh Ojoh survived by four wives, one brother, three sisters, twenty one children, fifty six grand children and many great grand children.

Among his children are: Mrs Mary Dele Yusuf, Mr Francis Ojoh, Hajiya Jumai Abdul, Assistant Commissioner of Police Yakub Ojoh, Mr Nuhu Ojoh, Mr Amos Ojoh, Mallam Tairu Momoh Ojoh, Mallam Tijani Momoh Ojoh among others.

Mallam Momoh was a community Leader who had held many importance position including being a prime Minister under of Late Iduh as Madaki of Agada.

Late Mallam Momoh Ojoh as community Leader of high repute possessed leadership qualities such as be honest, brave, decisive, proactive and attentive to details.

Mallam Momoh Ojoh has since been buried in his acesteral home, Agada according to islamic rite.

Speaking at the burial, his bereaved Sisters and brother to include: Esther Abiba Ojoh, Attai Ojoh, Mr Peter Alfa Ojoh and Ogwu Ojoh all said with a solemn voices that their brother lived a fulfilled life that has left an indeliable marks on their lives and the society at large.

The burial was attended by prominent sons and daughters of Agada as well as Immam of Anyigba, Immam of Abocho and other sympathisers.

Meanwhile, eight days and forty days prayers come up on 16th June and 17th July respectively.
