The divisional police station Abocho in Dekina local government area of Kogi State has paraded two notorious Armed robbers terrorizing the area.
According to #ourworldgist reporter, the suspects who had been on the wanted lists are identified as: Emmanuel Akowe ( 23 ) and Yusuf A ( 21 ).
In the last operation in which they were arrested, information had it that, they broke into Abocho community Secondary School and made away with numerous Computers, Printers, a Generating set and other valuable items.
In a confessional statement, the duo said, “we gained access into the School’s compound through the fence when we discovered that the security guard was not on duty and we subsequently broke the door and made away with those items”.
They further disclosed that the stolen items were secured in an uncompleted building which is about two kilometers away from the school environment.
In an interview with #Ourworldgist reporter, one of the residents in the area revealed that the thief are well known in the area but nobody dares accuses them of missing item as they are deadly and had attacked many people in the area with scar of injuries left on them.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, some computers and a generating set had been recovered while the suspects are currently in Abocho police custody as they assist how others stolen items could be recovered.
