Recently, the Acting DG of Consumer Protection council ( CPC ), Barrister Prince Babatunde Iruker was given full appointment as DG of the agency.
This appointment has received wide commendation from both economic and political analysts all saying his appointment is well deserved.

Let us read his full analysis: “Barrister Prince Babatunde Irukera was appointed in Acting capacity at the then Consumer Protection council CPC, some few years ago,now rejigged, repositioned,renamed and refocused as a Commission with his strides that brought more burden of responsibilities as Federal Competition Consumer Protection Commission FCCPC, to address chains of consumers and producers rights and privileges, complaints as well as check mate any unforeseen circumstances.
In the last few years of his Ag capacity, and request by Nigerian President for confirmation as substantive Director General of the FCCPC by the Senate, Irukera had ensure standard practice in indigenous business conglomerates and foreign ones, to the advantage of end users and consumer of both products and services in Nigeria.
