Kogi Social Media Influencer, Alfa Victor Enejo, shocked the world on Monday afternoon being 11th January, 2021 as he beat top Nigerian celebrities like: Don Jazzy, Deji Adeyanu, Aboki Gabriel Jeffy Ochy, and many others to win Presidential seat of the ongoing hashtag trend #StingMenAssociation ( SMA ).
According to ourworldgist reporter who monitored the event online, Victor Enejo Alfa was overwhelmingly voted to lead the Association.
As at the time of filing this report, Deji Adeyanu a social media influencer & a well known activist was also elected as the Publicity secretary of the Association.
What is the Association all about? From investigation, ourworldgist who always monitors the hashtag discovers that in Nigeria digital space, different days birth different trends.
And yesterday being 11th January 2021 wasn’t an exception as the hashtag, #StingyMenAssociation trended and popular Nigerian celebrities too numerous to mention participated in the trend.
To help our understanding, recall that the Sweet Boy Association, originated by popular singer Falz, that trended in 2018 to celebrate handsome men, however, the Stingy Men Association is a sharp contrast.
Basically, Nigerian men who have ‘joined’ the association take pride in the fact that they are stingy to ladies; especially when these ladies request money from them.
To make the trend more fun, Twitter users have gone as far as making ‘identity cards’ to prove their membership while potential members are asking questions on how to join the association.
Meanwhile, Mr President, Victor Enejo Alfa has announced that henceforth marriage celebration and bride price shall be thoroughly checkmated as any form of bogus wedding leading to luxury celebration shall be resisted.
He also stressed that any erring man who goes extra mile to please any lady with money or material things shall be resisted.
