The much awaited outcomes of Telpecon Meeting held on 20th April, 2021 at Abuja between the pressure group and Board of Trustees  has been made public.
According to the freelance reporter, Daniel Abah Joseph, the long meeting which lasted into the dead of the night revealed that the much talked Telpecon grant is yet to arrive in Nigeria.

Daniel Abah Joseph, added that the numbers of potential beneficiaries stood around ten million and not forty four million as widely reported in the media.

He stressed that Rev. Elomama, the President of Telpecon was misled by some criminal elements to champion the campaign that the grant has arrived the country.
He said, the idea behind the premature campaign was/is to extort money from the beneficiaries in the name of felicitating the process of the grant disbursement.

He further reported that while the pressure group appealed to the consultant of the Telpecon, Professor Isong, to source for additional grant to the seven hundred million dollar amount already donated from Singapore, he also mentioned June or July 2021 as the tentative dates when Singapore grant would arrive and September 2021 is given as possible date for disbursement.

Responding, Professor Isong, promised to do his best to source for additional grant as requested by the pressure group.

While analysing matters arising from the meeting, Mr Daniel Abah Joseph, highlighted what went wrong that BoT were labelled all sort of names.
This he said:
1. That the BOT of TELPECON erred by keeping some vital details from the TELPECON executives, thereby making them to resort to assumptions.
2. That the Executives also erred by making assumptions to disburse without proper verifications
3. That the NGOs erred by making humongous amount of money from the beneficiaries all in the name of funding the entire process: Some continued demanding for money even when the window for donations from the Executives and d BoT had been closed.
4. That the beneficiaries on their part erred by calling men and women of God names and issuing threats to them and their families based on assumptions that the money was in Nigeria.

Daniel Abah Joseph reported that at the end, pressure group tendered unreserved apology to the Consultant, Professor Isong and the BoT members for calling them all sort of names and issuing unnecessary threats to them and their families.

Meanwhile, the TELPECON leadership on their part has pledged to henceforth keep beneficiaries updated of the happenings in order to avoid unhealthy speculation.
