A new comedy group identified as “Boyzinthabuj” has been officially launched in Abuja as President Ahmed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu assumed office.
Announcing the emergence of the group on the same day President Ahmed Bola Asiwaju Tinubu assumes office, while addressing pressmen on 29th May 2023, the spokesperson of the comedy group, Mr Solomon Omatiga, said, “the emergence of the group will add value and boost entertainment industry in Abuja and Nigeria as a whole”.
He added that, “the body is open to invitation to perform at various events such as: Government functions, marriages, birthdays, and such other related ceremonies”.
He said, “the comedy group would soon embark on a Nationwide tour to sell their product to Nigerians”.
Asked by OurWorldGist what inspired the establishment of the group, Mr Solomon said, “Nigeria is faced with many challenges such as bad leadership, poor infrastructure, high unemployment rate, poor standard of living and other negative economic indexes which have depressed many Nigerians”.
“In light of the above challenges, we are on board to speak against these ills and also make Nigerians happy in other ways as we believe a new Nigeria is possible no matter the challenges”.
