In an article by Sani Michael Omakoji, a guest writer for OurWorldGist, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga emerges as a beacon of hope amid concerns over the integrity of young Nigerian politicians like Edu Bertha, Sadiya Farouq Umar, and Hajiya Halima.

Sani Michael Omakoji delves into Akpoti’s notable performance in the National Assembly, shedding light on her impact just six weeks into her resumption.

Let us read what Sani Michael Omakoji has to say:

” In recent times, the Nigerian political landscape has witnessed the emergence of young politicians, such as Edu Bertha, Sadiya Farouq Umar Hajiya Halima ( ‘Edus’ ), who have unfortunately been associated with corruption.

This has sparked concerns among many Nigerians, questioning the trustworthiness of young individuals in positions of authority.

Amidst these concerns, a shining example has emerged in the form of Barrister Natasha Akpoti Uduanga.

Widely regarded as an “Angel in human flesh,” an “Amazon,” “Senator of Justice” and a “beacon of hope,” Natasha Akpoti Uduanga has undertaken the responsibility of representing the people of Kogi Central senatorial district at the National Assembly.

Within a mere six weeks of assuming office, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to public service, surpassing the accomplishments of many senators over the years.

Noteworthy achievements include the donation of six trailers of rice to all five local government areas in Kogi Central, comprising Ajaokuta, Okene, Okehi, Adavi, and Ogori Magogo.

Furthermore, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga has exhibited a keen focus on education by donating 10,000 notebooks to schools within the mentioned local government areas.

Her dedication to improving community infrastructure is evident in the provision of over 800 solar street lights to deserving communities in her senatorial district.

Adding to her philanthropic endeavors, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga has distributed over 10,000 wrappers to women in Kogi Central, showcasing her commitment to women’s welfare.

Additionally, she has commissioned six constituency offices across Kogi Central, serving as important hubs for correspondence and community engagement.

One of Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga’s notable contributions is her influence in securing federal appointments for constituents, aimed at enhancing their productivity and societal contributions.

In stark contrast to the negative publicity surrounding other young politicians involved in fraudulent activities, Natasha Akpoti Uduanga stands out for her commendable governance initiatives.

In essence, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga serves as a beacon of hope for young Nigerians aspiring to hold positions of authority.

Her exemplary performance affirms that young individuals can indeed occupy positions of authority and contribute positively to society without any blemish.

For record, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduanga assumed office six weeks ago following a court decision that nullified the victory of Ohare from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The court found collusion between Ohare, Governor Yahaya Bello, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which initially denied Akpoti Uduanga her rightful victory in the polls.
