Natasha Akpoti’s N24m Educational Fund Receives Encomium

Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan’s N24m educational fund intervention for Kogi Central through her educational initiative “Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan Foundation” has received encomium from the people of Kogi Central and beyond.

Following the disclosure of the program by Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan on her verified Facebook account @Natasha Akpoti, on Monday being 12th February 2024, thousands of her followers took to her comment section to give her accolades and commendation for her refined initiatives.

To Zakarayia Ogedengbe, he writes, “This is the difference between an educated Senator and others. We are proud of you Ma, ovidi ovidi!”

Theophilus Christfor, in his reaction, he writes, “I doubt if the heart of this woman is the same as the heart of a man… Her heart must be that of angels in the very presence of God… She is doing what a so-called governor could not do…”

Abdulrazaq Adogu, writes, “For the very first time in history, we voted right! God bless and protect you always.”

Imran Omahe in her long reaction writes: “Dear Senator Natasha H Akpoti Uduaghan, most distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic. Please keep showing them what leadership is all about. Thank you for not letting us down. Thank you for keeping up with your campaign promises. Thank you for setting a pace like never before. Thank you for being you. God bless you ma. Recall, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, through her initiative, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Foundation (NAUF) has launched scholarship programme, to mitigate the suffering faced by indigent students in Kogi Central.

This was contained in a statement authored by her on Monday.

The ₦24 million Educational Intervention Fund, according to the foundation, will be disbursed ₦2 million monthly over the next 12 months with the beneficiaries published for purpose of accountability.

The statement added that applicants are advised to submit an application letter to any of Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s constituency offices in their respective local government areas.

They are also expected to attach photocopy of certificate of origin, admission letter, school ID card (if available), proof or request claim, to the designated emails.

Criteria For Eligibility goes thus:
1. Beneficiary must be a student of public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
2. He/she must be of Kogi Central origin or a resident of not less than 10 years.
3. He/she must have been verified by the NAUF EDUIFUND Team to be poor and vulnerable.
4. He/she must submit an application either via email or to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s constituency office in his/her LGA.
5. He /she must not be a previous beneficiary from the NAUF EDUIFUND in the same calendar year he/she is applying.
