It is no longer news whether, the Kangaroo Director General of Special Taskforce on illegal Smuggling of Fire Arms and other related Crimes in Kogi State, one Friday Makama, was arrested by the Department of State Service ( DSS ) or not, the question on the lips of many now is why was he arrested.
An independent investigation by OurWorldGist revealed that the said, Friday Makama, a bloody Civilian impessinating security force was arrested in Abuja on Thursday being 15th June 2023 because of his connection to the attack on Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, Social Democratic Party’s ( SDP ), candidate for Kogi November 11th gubernatorial election who was assaulted some weeks ago while in Kogi State to seek royal blessings from Traditional Rulers.
According to Muritala ‘s media, Friday Makama, was spotted along with some thugs around Nataco area of Lokoja with unfamiliar security uniform chanting, “Muri go back”, “Muri respect our command”, “Muri becareful” etc, etc.
Since the attack, Makama, has been far from the eyes of the public but luck ran out of him on Thursday at Abuja as he was arrested for questionings concerning his rule on Muri’s attack.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report on Friday being 15th June 2023, Friday Makama was still in DSS’s custody.
