As part of message to mark International Women Conference Program at Solemn Faith International Church located at Federal Housing Estate in Woji, Port Harcourt, witnessed an enriching service by Pastor Mathew Ele-Ojo James and Pastor Mrs.
Hope Mathew delivered profound sermons that captivated the congregation.
Pastor Mathew Ele-Ojo James’s Pastor Mathew Eleojoh James’s sermon on the “Mysteries of Divine Visitation” delved into various aspects of divine interaction, drawing from scriptures such as Genesis 50:24, Luke 1:39-40, and Job 1:6-9.
He identified three types of visitations: from God, from men, and from the devil.
He highlighted that God’s visitations can deliver, bless, support, or execute wrath and judgment, as seen in Exodus 12.
Pastor James emphasized the necessity of divine visitation to end human frustrations (1 Kings 19:1-7), remove delays and stagnation (Genesis 21:1-6), and transform failures into success (Joshua 2:1).
He stressed purity and prayer as key to inviting divine intervention, supported by scriptures like Exodus 19:9-11 and Acts 4:30-33.
The service featured special prayers and healing sessions, leaving the congregation enlightened and hopeful.
In a complementary sermon, Pastor Mrs. Hope Mathew spoke on “I’M THE VESSEL,” underscoring the importance of being vessels in God’s service.
Drawing from 2 Timothy 2:20-21 and Ezekiel 22:30, she explained that vessels are integral to God’s work, designed to carry virtue and serve as instruments of warfare (Jeremiah 51:20).
She stressed the need for vessels to be filled with the Spirit of God and to be cleansed, separated, and sanctified (1 Thessalonians 4:4).
Pastor Mathew assured the congregation that God can redefine their existence regardless of circumstances and warned against neglecting good works (James 4:17).
The service included special musical numbers, prayers, and moments of healing, enriching the spiritual experience for all attendees.
