The Peoples Democratic Party Elders in Kogi state have come heavy on former governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro and his family, describing them as mere opportunistic family whose aim and agenda is to turn Kogi and the PDP to their family’s inheritance.

In a statement signed by the leader of the group, Dansofo, the elders decried the inability of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris ‘Ibro’ to put his family in order, describing it as “a big problem to the party”.

The party elder reacting to the ongoing altercation between the party founder Captain Joe Agada and former Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro, backed Capt Joe Agada’s call on the party leaders to take a tough stance on the former governor, who he accused of destroying the party after collecting money from the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello before and after the 16th November 2019 gubernatorial election which Bello violently and fraudulently won.
