Children indeed are blessings from God Almighty. “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praiseth her” Proverbs 31:28.

This is applicable to a wild and a rousing celebration of the life spent here on earth.

It was a beehive of activities on Tuesday, 14th of July 2020 as a memorial service was held in honour of late Mama Salime Salome Aruwa.

She transited to eternal glory on 18th August 1988 barely 32 years ago.

The children given to her by God Almighty nursed and nurtured by her are also bereaved by the death of their Father Deacon James Egbunu Aruwa whose burial is scheduled for 16th and 17th July 2020.

Her beloved children in the spirit of love unanimously appreciated the quality of upbringing they got from their late mum.

Their late Dad lived for 94 years; what a life worthy of this celebration (32 years after he lost his wife).

The eldest daughter Mrs Rose Iganya Akagwu in her address eulogized their late mum as a kindhearted, God fearing, a very accommodative and a mother to all when she was alive.

Mr. Aruwa Samson-Omera a banker, business and investment expert in arrays of friends, colleagues and associates graced this memorial service in honour of his late mum and enjoined their well wishers to honour their late father Deacon James Aruwa by Attending his final internment on the scheduled date.

Mr Arome James Aruwa the living eldest Son of the mother’s joy knows no bound beholding the numbers of people in attendance.

While appreciating the people, said their late mother lived an examplary life worthy of emulation and a pride to feminism.

Our sole consolation is that her soul is peacefully reposed in the bosom of the Almighty.

The heavy down pour after the programme depicts a blessing and confirmation of good testimonies from concerned citizens.
