Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho Honours With Award Of Excellence By NASFAT

Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho has been honoured with award of Excellence by Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society of Nigeria is a Nigerian Muslim ( NASFAT ).

Announcing the award in Abocho, Dekina LGA – Kogi State over the weekend, OIK of late Shehu Akus led ICDA, said the award is long overdue and is purely based on merit as he stressed the awardee has shown consistency in his love for God and humanity.

This award is by prestigious Nigerian Muslim prayer group sometimes referred to as a Muslim Pentecostal group.

NASFAT has over one million members in Nigeria. The group organizes prayer fairs where the recitation of prayers can be done by all without the agency of a clergy.

Meanwhile, on behalf of NASFAT, OIK reads the credentials of Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho as follows:

” Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho was born around 1969 to the famous family of late pa Dansoho Dangana at Abocho.

He attended LGEA primary school, Abocho, between 1976 – 1983.

He then proceeded to Biraidu Community Secondary School, Abocho between 1983 – 1988.

He obtained NCE in Arabic /Islamic Studies from FCE Kano ( 1997).

He also had BA Arabic and literature from KSU , Anyigba ( 2004).

PGD in Mass communication and MSc Mass Communication respectively same at Kogi State University, Ayingba ( 2010).

Currently, he is the Controller presentation with Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Kogi).

He is also the Chief Imam , Abocho in Dekina LGA of Kogi State.

Ustaz Dansoho holds various positions including Kogi State Chairman of the National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations ( NACOMYO) as well as Chairman, Kogi East Chapter of the body.

In the 90s Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho had taught in BCSS Abocho; similarly, he had also taught at GSSS Dekina , 1998 – 2001

He is one of the stakeholders in BOSA and he has been sponsoring all their programmes’ announcement on Radio kogi Ochaja at his personal cost.

He has always been present in almost all the annual general meetings of the body.

Alh Suleiman Dansoho is a peace loving individual, equally an advocate of peaceful coexistence of the people in his surrounding.

Within the shortest period he was coronated as Chief Imam of Abocho Central Mosque, he has demonstrated competence and understanding among the inhabitants of Biraidu Community.

Worthy of note, he singlehandedly sponsored a launching for the renovation and upgrading of Abocho Central Mosque and Independently dug a standard Borehole for the Mosque that also serves the people living around the Mosque premises.

In his efforts to unite every living soul in the community, he has successfully resolved all the differences between the two major Islamic sects in Abocho, the feat that had Onu Abocho (AYIDU) historically observed Juma’at prayer at Abocho Central Mosque Sometime ago.

He has been preaching to ensure major Religions in Biraidu live in harmony.

Not forgetting that he is currently consulting to ensure the Centralization of Abocho Juma’at and Eid Prayers as mark of unity among Muslim Ummah in the community.

All these and many more he has done can never go unnoticed.
