Political activist and unrepentant critics of President Muhammadu Buhari, Reno Omokri, has disagreed with Sheikh Abubakar Gumi over call to grant amnesty to Fuani Herdsmen.

Reno made his position known on Friday evening, being 6th Febuary 2021 via his verified facebook account.

In a post, Reno says: ” I respect Sheikh Abubakar Gumi. But I disagree with his call for General Buhari to grant amnesty to herdsmen and bandits.
Why would Buhari ban IPOB, who don’t kill, and then grant amnesty to killer herdsmen?
It shows Nigeria is not balanced.
We can’t have unity without justice! What injustice are herdsmen fighting for that respected Sheikh Gumi wants them to be granted amnesty?
Were they cheated and are fighting for their right?
Were their resources forcefully taken from them?
If we give them amnesty, let‘s also close prisons and grant prisoners amnesty. #TableShaker”

Recall Sheikh Abubakar Gumi, has earlier the week appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to grant amnesty to Herdsmen as part of measure he opinied would go along way to address the problem of insecurity in the country.
