Founder of African Premier Indigenous Distribution Platform IGOTV.NG, Mr Makolo Jnr has been honoured with an induction into the Kogi State Entertainment Hall of Fame at the annual Jfo concert held recently at Lounge1 Lokoja, Kogi State.
Speaking at the event, the organiser of the award, Kogi Iconic Music maestro, Baba Jfo said, “Mr Makolo Jnr has written his name in gold for founding IGOTV.NG with the sole aim of promoting indigenous films by minority tribes in Nigeria and the rest of Africa at large “.
Baba Jfo added that “no one saw it coming” stressing that “it was the most valuable event that came to pass in 2021″.
Responding, Mr Makolo who was totally amazed said, ” honestly, I never expected this so soon and by the the grace of God, this will ginger me to do more”.
Mr Makolo Jnr who was accompanied by his team, thanked the organisers for the recognition adding that he will not let them down.
Event was attended by Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu, Executive Chairman, Ankpa Local Government Area, Hon. Isah Idachaba, the commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Danjuma Oando, the Commissioner for youths and Sports,
Hon Paul Ukwenya, Fmr Chairman Idah Local Government area and owner of Lounge1 Dr Rekiya MOMOH Abaji, and KING khalid Bukar 11 ,the Ohiegba of mozum. Others were: the CEO of Puzzlestitches ltd, Arc. Samuel Odoma and Alaha G Iyua, the CEO of Iyua Alaha Media, the management/Pr company to Tom Makolo Jnr.
