In a significant development, the Mega Rally in support of Muritala Yakubu Ajaka and Sam Abenemi, both representing the Social Democratic Party (SDP), for the forthcoming Kogi gubernatorial election, is confirmed to proceed as scheduled on the 17th of September 2023.

During a recent interactive session held on the 14th of September, Muri’s campaign organization engaged with key stakeholders, including the Udama Igala Association Worldwide and Independent Association, along with the Abuche Club, OurWorldGist reported that the Mega Rally will take place at Opposite Radio House in Garki Area 10, Abuja, commencing at 12 noon.

In response to circulating rumors suggesting a postponement to the 23rd of September 2023, Muri / Sam’s campaign organization emphatically stated that these rumors are baseless and urged the public to dismiss them. They further encouraged participants from Abuja and its surroundings to adhere to their prior preparations to attend the event on the originally planned date, the 17th of September 2023.

Notably, the Mega Rally is anticipated to draw attendees from the three senatorial districts of Kogi State, including Kogi East, Kogi Central, and Kogi West, as affirmed by Mr. Sani Michael Omakoji, the National Secretary of Udama Igala Association Worldwide.

Stay tuned for further updates as this crucial political event approaches, and make sure to mark your calendars for the 17th of September 2023 to witness this significant gathering of support for Muri and Sam of the SDP.
