The Kogi Youth Coalition Movement ( KYCM)  has called on security operatives to arrest individuals claiming to be Critical Stakeholders of Kogi East for their involvement in former Governor Yahaya Bello’s looting of the state, amounting to several billions of Naira.

In a press briefing in Abuja on Friday, the spokesperson of the group, Comrade Osundare I., expressed their shock at a group of individuals who, identifying themselves as Kogi East Critical Stakeholders, have attempted to obstruct and accuse the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of witch-hunting former Governor Yahaya Bello, who is on trial for allegedly embezzling several billions from the state.

The secretary of the group, Mr. Oyiza Ochu, stated, “It is a serious setback for some people under the guise of Kogi East Critical Stakeholders to accuse the EFCC of witch-hunting former Governor Yahaya Bello, despite the fact that he stole billions of Naira from the state’s coffers.”

He added, “This is not about witch-hunting or tribal conflict, but Bello must return all that he has stolen from the state.”

Earlier, in a remark, the president of the group, Comrade Adejoh Mikel, released the names of those he claimed benefited from Bello’s looting. The individuals include:
1. Mr. Isah Daniel
2. Dangana Ocheja
3. Zakari Bala
4. General Patrick Akpa
5. Prof. Stephen Ocheni
6. Mr. Moses Abdullahi,
among others who are concealing their identities from the media.

It should be recalled that in a publication by the News Agency of Nigeria (www.nannews.ng) on Thursday, the aforementioned disgruntled elements in Kogi East had conducted a media chat in favor of former Governor Yahaya Bello, who is declared wanted by the EFCC.
