President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has announced a generous reward package for the Super Falcons of Nigeria, following their outstanding performance at the just concluded 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Each player will receive a cash reward of N165,000,000, a three bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Abuja, and a national honour the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
The announcement was made on Monday evening during a special reception held in honour of the team at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
In a related development, Governor Hope Uzodinma, speaking on behalf of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, also announced a cash donation of ₦10,000,000 to each player.
This remarkable gesture reflects the nation’s appreciation for the Super Falcons’ commitment, resilience, and achievements on the continental stage.
