It was an eyes to behold in the city of Benin, Edo State of Nigeria a week ago as 12 year old boy fought a stubborn Masquerade known for terrorising people and destroying valuable properties to a stand still.
An eye witness recounts that trouble broke out when an innocent boy was passing along the major road in the heart of Benin when the said Masquerade as usual started beating the boy without any offense.
The boy who was said to have been angered by this inhumane and barbaric act as the authority shows I don’t care attitude to the Masquerade’s repeated actions over the years, responded bravely and show no mercy as he fights the masquerade to the point of the masquerade looking for help.
An eye witness who narrated the ideal to ourworldgist said, “the Masquerade who was seriously injured has not been able to come out for his usual destructive activities since the incidence took place”
Passersby who couldn’t help the situation than to watch the fight with excitement and laughter, eulogized the boy courage.
Similarly, Residents of the area who described the boy as hero commended him for his fearlessness and ruggedness.
