Kidnappers are now on rampage in Kogi State as they evaded a community, Akpanya in IgalaMela / Odolu Local Government Area on Saturday early hour to kidnap a father and a daughter.
According to an eye witness, Mr John who spoke with Ourworldgist on phone, he said, the kidnappers kidnapped one Mr Achimugu Attah along with his daughter from the village.
He said, the kidnappers who arrived in the village early hour on Saturday were shooting sporadically and at randomly without any security resistant.
He added that the village Akpanya is now deserted as villagers are now fleeing from the village for fear of being kidnap.
He explained further that Nigeria Police Force were yet to deploy their men to the area even 24 hours after the unfortunate incident.
Meanwhile, all effort made to speak with the Commissioner of Police in Kogi State proved abortive as the public number made available was switched off.
Akpanya is a village in IgalaMela/ Odolu Local Government Area, Kogi State that shares boarders with Nsukka, Enugu Ezeike all in Enugu State and some part of Benue State.
