Udama Igala Worldwide has expressed their condolences to Dr Victor Alewo Adoji and his family following the passing of their mother, Deaconess Rebecca Adoji.

The National Chairman of the Association, Kerimu P, through the National Secretary, Comrade Sani Michael Omakoji, released a statement describing the late Deaconess as a God-fearing woman and a mother to many.

Part of the statement read: “Despite her sudden demise, Mama Rebecca Adoji led a fulfilling life, as evidenced by the testimonials from family, friends, and members of the community”.

The Association urged Dr Victor Alewo Adoji and his family to find comfort in knowing that Mama Rebecca Adoji was cherished not only by her family but also greatly by the wider society.

The family announced the matriarch’s death on Monday, stating, “With deep sorrow and acceptance of God Almighty’s will, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Deaconess Rebecca Adoji, who has now gone to be with the Lord.”

Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji, a successful retired banker, modern politician, and erudite scholar, and a son of the deceased, is the Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for Kogi East senatorial election in the 2023.
