An elder stateman, Femi Fani Kayode has predicted that Nigeria May Not Be One For Much Longer due to division tendency that has cracked the unity of Nigeria.

Femi Fani Kayode made this known on his official twitter handle 1st October 2020.

While praying and expressing hope for the continuous existence of Nigeria however, Kayode also lamented that, the cracks are widening and anger is rising in Nigeria.

He further expressed fear how is difficult for the unity of Nigeria that is so divided and cracked to be sustained.

His tweet reads, ” today we celebrate 60 years of independence from our former colonial masters. I wish my compatriots happy independence day but I am constrained to ask the following: can our “unity” be sustained? The cracks are widening& anger is rising. Nigeria may not be one for much longer.

Many ups and downs but we are still together. Many shattered dreams but we are still one. Many broken hearts but we are still standing. Many wounded souls but our heart is still beating. Many blighted spirits but our resolve remains strong..1/3

May He make our nation what He wants her to be & may He give us leaders that will take us to the promise land. May He cause our light to shine brightly & may He cause our joy to be full. May He exalt our horn, enlarge our coast & defend our borders…3/4

May He grant us faith, strength and courage and may He bring us to an expected end.

Happy birthday Nigeria!”.
