Mr Olumiyan Oluwafemi, Kogi Born Real Estate Developer has been conferred with award of excellence for his selfless service to humanity.
OurWorldGist gathered that the award was conferred on him in Abuja by the Nigeria National Volunteer Services Diaspora Affairs.
According to National Volunteer Services Diaspora Affairs, the award was in recognition of his commitment and service to alleviating the plights of the masses.
Mr Olumiyan, a native of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State is the Chief Executive Officer of Olusco Groups of Company, Abuja.
The Chief Executive Officer of Olusco Groups of Company urged well to do individuals in the society to always consider the plights of the masses with a view to alleviating their sufferings through Human Empowerment in their various communities.
The real estate developer emphasized the need for those in high positions to be more committed to raising and building people, noting that such gesture will go along way at making the society a better place.
” The truth is that, there is one saying in our place that says, if you are going up the ladder, prepare the ground because when you are coming down, it is the people that are going to prepare the ladder for you. If you are going up and you are not coming down with people then you are as good as you are not going anywhere”.
“My advice for well to do individuals is to try as possible to do human Empowerment” he said.
While dedicating the award to Almighty God, Mr Olumiyan said the award will spur him to do more for his people and the Society at large.
Presenting the award earlier to Mr Olumiyan, the State Coordinator of Nigeria National Volunteer Services Diaspora Affairs, Mr Ibrahim Itodo said the award was in recognition of his tract records in his Community and the society.
Mr Ibrahim Itodo, used the opportunity to implore spirited and well to do individuals to emulate the kind gesture of the Chief Executive Officer of Olusco Groups of Company, advising him to sustain the tempo.
